…At the beginning of the speeches the Best man should announce how it’s going to work:
- Guests should keep an ear out for the phrases on the card
- When they hear one they should mark it off on the card
- First table to get a line across – gets a prize
- First table to get a line down – gets a prize
- Anyone who completes the grid – gets a prize
(just our suggestions, but whatever you think will work best)
Don’t be put off by people shouting bingo in the middle of the speeches – it will add to the fun and laughter. Though you should warn any nervous speakers about it ahead of time (can’t see this really being a problem in Ireland – we could all talk the hind legs off a donkey in fairness). And away you go
